Yoga and Deb never had a love-at-first-sight relationship. She began yoga many years ago, as a companion to fitness classes. But after a serious back injury took her out of commission, yoga became recovery, a pathway to strength, flexibility and health maintenance.
Teaching yoga was not a goal for many years, but after experiencing the myriad benefits, she loves sharing this empowerment, peace and restoration experience with her students.
She believes yoga is for every BODY, no matter the shape, size, flexibility or fitness level. She wants to create a joyful, creative space for her students to grow, discover and reconnect with breath, body and mind.
When she is not doing yoga, you can find her buying cleaning products she has no intention of using, belting show tunes (badly), and volunteering.
