About the Event
Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, takes the practitioner on an awareness journey into different states of consciousness. This allows the body to receive sleep, dreaming and deep healing. This journey is one of looking inward, with as little effort as possible. The practitioner’s goal is to stay awake, while the body falls asleep.
You will learn more about the layers of yourself, know in yoga as the Koshas, along with the 4 stages of deep rest.
Then you will be guided through the Koshas during the Nidra practice.
As you travel through the physical body, you will acknowledge the breath, you notice thought awareness, you will observe and witness and eventually you arrive you into pure experiencing. Also know as releasing into bliss.
Yoga Nidra allows the practitioner to feel and observe their entire being. It allows for deep physical and emotional rest.
